[Unreleased]
[0.3.0] - 2026-10-23
The first release on PyPI.
Changed
- The driver follows the NAPALM driver standard
(https://git.netork.io/NAPALM/driver-standard): CI on Gitea runs ruff, mypy, the
tests on Python 3.10–3.13 and at the lowest declared versions, bandit, pip-audit and
a build check, and a release tag publishes to PyPI. The package now ships
py.typedand a LICENSE file. Python 3.10 is the floor; napalm-device-types now comes from PyPI, 4.21.1 or later. - A WAN connection service that fails with an unexpected error while
get_wan_status()tries it is now logged at debug level before the next one is tried.
[0.2.0] - 2026-10-17
Removed
get_device_warnings(). The DSL noise margin and the firmware on offer are facts inget_system_config()(dsl_downstream_noise_margin,firmware_update_available,firmware_version); whether they warrant a warning is the application's decision.
[0.1.0] - 2026-06-13
Added
fritzboxdriver: read-only access to AVM FritzBox routers over TR-064 (fritzconnection).
