Failure signature

Polling over CLI logs Device: HPE (OS: ): model and OS version are empty.

Invalid input: system-information

Root cause

_send_command with a list of alternatives moves on only when the output contains % Invalid or Error. ProCurve reports an unknown command as Invalid input: …, without a %, so the first alternative's error text is returned and parsed as system information. show system information / show system are never tried.

Expected

Invalid input counts as a failed alternative, and the next command is tried.
